Cedar or split-rail fences

Dating back to a time where cedar trees were more plentiful than money and still in use all over Eastern Ontario. They seem to come in two styles around here, three or four legged teepees with horizontal rails all wired together or the "snake fence", just an organized pile of cedar saplings or split rails.

Below an image from a forgotten Tumblr location. This one is a bit more imaginative, maybe an artist at work?

Try to be generous again, although it won't be needed so much paint this time.Depending on the product type and the wood texture, this might be necessary to repeat every few years.metal fence
