We used to make things in this country #234 Adams Wagon Company

Brantford Expositor, May 3 1930

Peter Adams started making wagons and buggies in his blacksmith shop in Paris, Ontario in 1863 where the company was known as Adams & Son. By 1900 a larger factory was needed to handle all of the orders so the company moved to Mohawk Street in Brantford where it became known as the Adams Wagon Company. The Cockshutt Plow Company acquired the business in 1911.
