Craftsman grinder-honer

My Craftsman 101.22670 grinder-honer.  Apparently made for Sears by DeWalt (although the Vintage Machinery site reports that these units were made by the Atlas Press Company.)  It doesn't actually do that great a job, as there's no provision to clamp a chisel or cutting tool on the angled support over the horizontal honing stone, the arm of which also can't be locked so it swings unless you hold it in position.

John G. Shea.  Woodworking for Everybody.  Van Nostrand Reinhold Co., 1944, Fourth Edition 1970.

Founded by Raymond DeWalt in 1924, the company was sold to the American Machine & Foundry Co. in 1949, and then to Black & Decker in 1960.  B&D now uses the DeWalt name solely as a brand for tools that are made in China or Mexico.
