Fliers at The Toronto Flying Club

Toronto Archives
Even squinting into the sun, these happy people are cool. No idea who they are but the airplane appears to be a de Havilland DH60 Moth.

According to the book De Havilland, A Pictorial Tribute, Airlife Publishing, 1992 by Gordon Bain, the picture is of Watt Martin flying DH60 CF-AAA with I assume, the Niagara Escarpment in the background. A search of the Civil Aircraft Register doesn't mention Mr. Watt, the CAR says the owners were Aviation League of Canada >Cape Breton FC >C Rogers >R Smith >C McMillan >H Disano. I can't help wondering if the two pictures taken 70-odd years apart are of the same plane.
