Bell System Lantern

1940's Bell System lantern, manufactured by the Carpenter Mfg. Co. Boston 45 Somerville Mass. It features a two-head light system, one side being a flood, the other an adjustable spot. It uses two 1-1/2 volt dry cell batteries The wing nuts can be loosened so it can be lifted higher on its stand to put its light at a different height.  An extra bulb in a holder is carried in the lid.  Well thought-out, but heavy!
