Analogue displays

Various meter faces from instruments in my shop.  For the sake of you Echo Boomers, this is how information was displayed when they sent men to the moon.  Interesting that by convention all of them read from clockwise left to right. Simpson Electric made a number of them.  The firm's founder, Ray Simpson, built the indicating mechanism for the earth inductor compass that Lindbergh used on his 1927 trans-Atlantic flight.  They went on to produce 14 different types of meters for the NASA Apollo missions in the Sixties.  Happily, the company is still around and doing well.
